About Me

Who am I and what do I know?

I am Eric Frisbee, a 24 year old alumni of the University of Michigan. I majored in Sport Management there with studies in Sports Media. So naturally I know what I'm talking about, right? Of course not. My true experience comes simply from watching this game, analyzing various rating systems, and observations of what has happened in the past.

Starting very young, I grew up waiting every year for the greatest annual tournament in the world - March Madness. As I got older, I expanded March Madness in my mind to the conference tournaments. After all, with the winner of each conference tournament receiving an automatic bid to the NCAA tournament - no team is eliminated from the NCAA tournament until they are eliminated in their conference tournament. With this very simple realization my obsession started. I found added meaning in games all season long whether it was a fight for seeding, the traditional bubble games of teams trying to make the field without the automatic berth, or simply jostling for a better seed in the conference tournament. I created my own bracket projections and bubble in order to identify the games that would have some impact, the teams that were safe and the teams that needed to make a run, the conferences that could produce bid thieves, with everything culminating in Championship Week.

I tracked this info on my own for a few years, but this year decided to move it online. If you’ve read this far, hopefully you will find my insights meaningful. Thanks for reading and enjoy!
